A global premium confectionery company is looking for a Demand Planner. The selected candidate will lead demand forecasting, inventory control, logistics coordination, and end-to-end supply chain optimisation to ensure product availability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse demand trends and forecast production and inventory requirements in collaboration with HQ supply chain teams
• Monitor inventory weekly and coordinate with 3PL partners to prevent stockouts and manage shelf-life risks
• Manage logistics, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely delivery while maintaining product quality
• Oversee import processes, customs clearance, and quality control to ensure smooth product flow and issue resolution
• Source materials, negotiate with vendors, and maintain supplier relationships to secure cost-effective supply
• Optimise supply chain processes, track KPIs, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to improve efficiency and mitigate risks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in supply chain management, logistics, business, or related field
• More than 5 years of experience in supply chain or related areas in retail business
• Experience in retail business and efficiently collaborate with store managers to optimise sales
• Skilled in analysing trends and creating reports to support management
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience both in matured size of business and young small company
• Prior experience with ERP systems and knowledge of supply chain KPIs, demand forecasting, and inventory management
