A global automotive manufacturing company is looking for a Supply Chain professional. The selected candidate will drive procurement strategy and assembly-focused production management across the supply chain.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate purchases, contracts, and pricing with parts suppliers
• Evaluate, select, and manage supplier performance
• Lead strategic sourcing from the new product development stage and promote VA/VE initiatives
• Develop and adjust assembly production plans based on demand forecasts
• Manage outsourced assembly plants by coordinating deliveries and monitoring quality, cost, and progress
• Visualise production status to enable faster and more effective decision-making

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of practical experience in domestic purchasing, domestic procurement operations, production control operations
• Experience utilising ERP systems such as SAP
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Proficient in English (TOEIC 800+); professional level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience working in the automotive parts industry
• Prior leadership experience in cost reduction projects
• Proven experience conducting supplier audits and quality improvement activities
• Background in implementing and improving production management systems (e.g., MRP/MES)
