サプライヤー品質エンジニア/ Supplier Quality Engineer

A global manufacturing company is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer. The selected candidate will lead supplier quality, material qualification, and continuous improvement initiatives across strategic suppliers. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead supplier assessments, qualification, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with global teams to resolve local and international supplier issues
• Analyse supplier processes and material impact on products and customer applications
• Act as technical expert in raw material quality and supplier quality management
• Drive advanced quality planning, technical reviews, and process documentation with suppliers
• Own supplier risk assessment, change control, and corrective and preventive actions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or Engineering (MS and/or PhD is ideal)
• 5-7 years of experience in chemical or abrasive manufacturing, automotive, semiconductor industry or related high-tech industry
• Experience in organic and inorganic chemistry
• Prior experience with supplier quality management
• Knowledge of chemical manufacturing
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Fluent level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Understanding of statistical software like Minitab, JMP
• Possess valid Six-Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
• Possess valid ASQ or equivalent certification
