マテリアルプランナー/ Material Planner

An international healthcare company is looking for a Material Planner. The selected candidate will manage demand forecasting, inventory planning, and S&OP processes to ensure product availability while optimising stock and supporting new product launches.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse historical shipment trends and develop statistical forecasts using JDA and other analytical tools
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to create consensus demand forecasts via monthly S&OP processes
• Develop inventory strategies for existing, new, and phased-out products, including slow-moving and obsolescence reserves
• Maintain planning parameters and update forecasts in the demand planning system (JDA)
• Achieve and maintain best-in-class planning KPIs, including line fill rate, forecast accuracy, and inventory MOH
• Track invoices, issue and maintain purchase orders, and troubleshoot daily demand-supply imbalances
• Identify opportunities to continuously improve the S&OP process
• Maintain master data in local inventory system (AS400)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business
• 3-5 years of experience as a supply/demand planner
• Experience in inventory planning and management in medical equipment (especially contact lenses), FMCG, or pharmaceutical industries
• Proficient in MS Excel and data analysis
• Fluent level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in project management and data management
• Skilled in demand planning software such as JDA
• Experience with SAP
