計画・スケジューリングマネージャー/ Planning and Scheduling Manager
A multinational chemical company is looking for a Planning and Scheduling Manager. The selected candidate will independently plan and optimise production, inventory, and scheduling activities to ensure efficient operations across the supply chain. This is a hybrid setup role.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule production activities within a short-term horizon to optimise capacity and efficiency
- Coordinate production schedules based on capacity, raw material availability, and business priorities
- Plan and order raw materials to ensure timely availability for production
- Maintain accurate scheduling and availability data within ERP systems to support ATP checks
- Lead production trials and support updates to production data and recipes in ERP systems
- Plan designated products within a tactical horizon to secure alignment with business plans
- Manage inventory levels to meet quantity, quality, and delivery requirements
- Ensure agreed safety stock levels and optimise inventory quality, value, and replenishment strategies
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate corrective actions when necessary
- Communicate capacity constraints, material shortages, and scheduling issues to stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- More than 2 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or production
- Proven experience in multitasking, prioritisation, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Proficient in SAP material management, warehouse management modules, or other ERP/MRP systems
- Professional level Japanese; business level English
