計画・スケジューリングマネージャー/ Planning and Scheduling Manager

A multinational chemical company is looking for a Planning and Scheduling Manager. The selected candidate will independently plan and optimise production, inventory, and scheduling activities to ensure efficient operations across the supply chain. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule production activities within a short-term horizon to optimise capacity and efficiency
• Coordinate production schedules based on capacity, raw material availability, and business priorities
• Plan and order raw materials to ensure timely availability for production
• Maintain accurate scheduling and availability data within ERP systems to support ATP checks
• Lead production trials and support updates to production data and recipes in ERP systems
• Plan designated products within a tactical horizon to secure alignment with business plans
• Manage inventory levels to meet quantity, quality, and delivery requirements
• Ensure agreed safety stock levels and optimise inventory quality, value, and replenishment strategies
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate corrective actions when necessary
• Communicate capacity constraints, material shortages, and scheduling issues to stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• More than 2 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or production
• Proven experience in multitasking, prioritisation, problem-solving, and decision-making
• Proficient in SAP material management, warehouse management modules, or other ERP/MRP systems
• Professional level Japanese; business level English
