SCMプランニングリード/ SCM Planning Lead

An international biotechnology company is seeking an SCM Planning Lead. The selected candidate will drive S&OP, demand forecasting, procurement, and production planning while leading cross-functional coordination to ensure supply stability and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and consolidate demand forecasts from Sales and Marketing
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, QA, and Corporate Planning to align supply and demand
• Establish inventory policies, safety stock levels, and ordering strategies through the S&OP forum
• Prepare MRP and share demand forecasts with suppliers and contract manufacturers
• Place and adjust purchase orders, managing production and delivery schedules
• Act as supply–demand planning lead, negotiating with CDMOs and raw material suppliers
• Oversee SCM operations, including order management, shipping, and logistics
• Monitor supply chain risks such as material shortages or transport delays and recommend countermeasures
• Lead the SCM department, taking full responsibility from strategy to execution

Requirements:

• Proven experience in manufacturing planning based on sales forecasts and coordinating with CDMOs
• Experience in preparing MRP and managing purchasing activities
• Experience in vendor negotiations and knowledge of raw material procurement in biopharmaceuticals or regenerative medicine
• Professional level Japanese and English
