SC＆プロキュアメントアシスタントマネージャー/ SC & Procurement Assistant Manager

A global mobility technology company is looking for a Supply Chain and Procurement Assistant Manager. The selected candidate will lead procurement initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and support strategic sourcing across engineering and corporate functions. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects to improve procurement and supply chain operations, including vehicle build programs
• Negotiate and close contracts for direct and indirect procurement aligned with supplier strategies
• Drive cost reduction through clean sheet analysis and supplier base optimisation
• Communicate and escalate issues effectively with proper documentation
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and educate relevant business units
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet strategic sourcing goals in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or strategic negotiation roles
• Proven experience in the automotive industry
• Experience in international trading (import/export) is ideal
• Proficient in supplier relationship management and RFQ/RFP procedures
• Background in automotive software, contingent workforce, and IT commodities procurement is a plus
• Passion for technology and mobility is desired
• Native level Japanese; business level English
