Head of Supply Chain

A global pharmaceutical company is looking for a Head of Supply Chain. The selected candidate will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, planning, and organizational management. This is a long-term contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily supply chain activities including import, customs clearance, and logistics coordination
• Manage procurement processes from purchase orders to invoice settlements for packaging materials and CMOs
• Supervise inventory levels to ensure stable stock availability
• Lead supply chain planning, establish and optimise S&OP frameworks and KPIs
• Manage supply chain scope in new product launches and MA transfers
• Lead contract negotiations, audit preparations, team development, and handle special assignments from GM

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in supply chain
• More than 5 years of experience in supply chain or production management
• More than 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical devices industries or similar (cosmetics and chemical commodities)
• Experience in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, or production
• Prior experience in SAP is ideal
• Prior experience handling big data (number of product, material lines more than 50 items is ideal)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Fluent level Japanese and English
