SCMマネージャー/ SCM Manager

A global technology company is seeking an SCM Manager. The selected candidate will oversee order management, warehouse activities, customs compliance, and freight coordination while optimising processes and driving efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee customer and internal order management for hardware, software, rentals, and service packages
• Manage the SCM team, defining structure, coaching, and ensuring operational efficiency
• Supervise warehouse activities, ensuring inventory accuracy, audits, and quality control
• Oversee customs processes, including export/import compliance and certifications
• Manage freight operations in alignment with global strategy and agreements
• Define and monitor SCM KPIs, driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee purchasing, replenishment, and back-to-back shipment processes
• Lead supply chain projects, including warehouse setup and operational transitions
• Ensure seamless communication across regional and global supply chain teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• More than 10 years of experience in SCM, including global logistics and customer order handling
• More than 7 years of experience in warehouse operations and performance control
• More than 5 years of experience in import-export airfreight management
• Expertise in SAP MM/SD Module, MS Office Suite, and IT tools
• Strong S&OP (Sales Operation Planning) knowledge
• Knowledge of Japanese METI export control regulations
• Capability to develop and execute strategies for operational success
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically/internationally
• Native level Japanese; fluent level English
