SCオペレーションマネージャー/ SC Operations Manager

A global insurance company is seeking an experienced SC Operations Manager. The successful candidate will lead supply chain operations, driving cost-efficiencies and operational excellence while managing cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead supply chain operations including warehousing, inventory control, and transportation
• Foster strategic partnerships to ensure cost-efficiencies align with organisational goals
• Manage multiple teams of professionals and guide them toward achieving operational excellence
• Oversee process improvements and cost reduction initiatives with both short and long-term perspectives
• Represent the operations team in the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process
• Manage outsourced vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality standards and service level agreements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in sciences or business management
• More than 10 years of professional experience
• Excellent change and leadership management skills
• Strong material distribution skills
• Background in strategic leadership
• Prior background in transportation operations
• Proficient in written and spoken Japanese and English
