サプライチェーンマネージャー/ Supply Chain Manager

A global chemical manufacturer is looking for a Supply Chain Manager. The selected candidate will oversee supply chain operations, ensuring optimal inventory levels and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and international regulations
• Collaborate with regional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts
• Coordinate supply planning to meet sales and marketing forecasts
• Optimise inventory levels to reduce costs and improve cash flow
• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and sourcing activities
• Oversee transportation and warehousing operations for efficient delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in supply chain management, business, logistics, or a relevant domain
• More than 5 years of experience in supply chain management (within Japan or APAC region is a plus)
• Experience in supply chain planning, procurement, inventory management, and logistics
• Prior experience in leading cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve supply chain operations
• Knowledge of Japanese import or export laws, compliance requirements, and local logistics practices
• Understanding of ERP systems (SAP), supply chain management software, and data analysis tools
• Business level Japanese and English
