An international consumer goods company is searching for a Supply Chain Manager. The chosen applicant will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of assets and making strategic decisions that align with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop scenarios and implement strategic asset renewal plans that align with business objectives
- Manage the entire lifecycle of assets, from procurement and contract negotiation to renewal or replacement
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, assess risks, and make informed decisions about asset management
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to understand their needs and ensure alignment on renewal strategies
- Review and provide input on renewal planning in tenders and due diligence ensuring alignment with Group Policies
- Participate in technical discussions during tenders, contributing to asset renewal strategy definition and long-term budget preparation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in business, supply chain management, or a related field
- More than 5 years of experience in supply chain management experience
- More than 2 years of experience in leading a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, Charts)
- Understanding of ERP or MRP systems (Oracle)
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Familiarity with US working styles is preferred
- Fluent level Japanese; business level English
