シニアサプライヤーエンジニア/ Senior Supplier Engineer

A global medical devices manufacturer is seeking a Senior Supplier Engineer for External Manufacturing. The selected candidate will manage projects, coordinate engineering tests, and troubleshoot issues while supporting day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee projects involving new equipment, process improvements, and cost reductions for assigned key suppliers
• Collaborate with R&D, quality, production, regulatory, and other departments to ensure project success
• Contribute to new product development and support, including process capability studies and Six Sigma projects
• Design and coordinate engineering tests and experiments, including design of experiments
• Troubleshoot product and process problems related to design, material, or processes
• Analyse and summarise test results; prepare reports for technical communication
• Lead cross-functional project teams as needed
• Manage change requests and support supply chain objectives, including supplier performance and risk mitigation
• Utilise statistical tools and analytical techniques to investigate component defects and present results

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering from ABET-accredited institutions or prestigious universities
• More than 8 years of experience in manufacturing or procurement engineering
• Experience in the medical device industry is a plus
• Knowledge of ISO13485 and FDA QSR820 is preferred
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Proficient in Japanese and English
