An international logistics group is seeking a talented freight sales expert to join them as a Sales Executive. In this position, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to use their import/export knowledge to develop sales opportunities with customers.
- Secure new customers; maintain and develop existing accounts
- Find and develop qualified leads and convert them through the sales process into prospects and customers
- Perform regular client visits to validate our service levels and develop new revenue streams
- Meet and exceed targets set in terms of contributing and generating revenue
- Set-up and execute customer SOP to ensure operating procedures meet customer expectations
- 3+ years’ sales experience in freight forwarding/logistics; experience overseas is an advantage
- Strong product knowledge of ocean import/export (NVOCC) and air; sales experience with 3PL solutions is an advantage
- Knowledge of personal computers including Microsoft Word and Excel software
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Japanese, both verbally and in writing
