An international shipbroking services company is searching for a Sales professional. The successful candidate will be developing and expanding a client base while providing valuable market insights.
Responsibilities:
- Highlight fixture opportunities to clients and develop an expansive client base
- Understand the business strategy for the Dry cargo division and identify new business opportunities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the market space and perform market analysis
- Work collaboratively with other members of the team across divisions and internationally to meet client needs
- Service and develop client relationships through valuable and frequent communications
- Assist with charter parties and issue recaps relating to charters for the transport of cargos on vessels
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals
- Identify opportunities for growth, assist with recruitment training, and onboarding processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 5-10 years of proven track records
- Practical experience in maritime or shipping sector is ideal
- Experience in physical shipbroking and associated practices is a plus
- Knowledge of IT systems used by shipbrokers is desired
- Fluent level English
