A multinational luxury retail company is looking for a Planning professional. The selected candidate will drive sales forecasting, support buying activities, and optimise sell-through performance for ready-to-wear and footwear categories. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Review and manage sales forecasts for ready-to-wear and footwear products in collaboration with local merchandising and central planning teams
• Analyse new product performance and adjust sales forecasts quickly following product launches
• Lead and coordinate the monthly Best Estimate forecasting process with cross-functional departments
• Monitor buying quantities before and after product launches based on initial sales signals
• Implement actions with merchandising and retail teams to improve sell-through, including visual merchandising, commercial initiatives, and stock rebalancing
• Enhance and adjust sales forecasting tool parameters to improve planning accuracy
• Challenge existing planning processes and collaborate with central teams to propose operational improvements
• Support merchandising teams during buying sessions for ready-to-wear and footwear categories
• Monitor global product landings to ensure supply availability and achievement of category growth targets
• Analyse buying quantities at SKU level in alignment with merchandising strategies and benchmarks
• Support sizing and product setup strategies defined by merchandising teams
• Prepare monthly Best Estimate and PIC presentations and provide ad hoc analysis to support business development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 3 years of experience in supply chain within the retail industry
• Experience in retail supply chain planning and sales forecasting
• Proficient in data analysis tools, including Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and datasets
• Willingness to challenge existing processes and drive continuous improvement
• Business level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in the luxury goods industry or global organisations
