インポートシニアマネージャー/ Import Senior Manager

A renowned FMCG company is seeking an Import Senior Manager Operations. The selected applicant will oversee the end-to-end importation process and ensure compliance with Japan trade regulations. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire import operations process
• Ensure compliance with Japan regulations and manage necessary documentation
• Track shipments and resolve issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies
• Collaborate with quality control teams to implement quality control procedures
• Investigate and resolve complaints related to damaged or non-compliant goods
• Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance to optimise costs and service levels

Requirements:

• More than 8 years of experience in import/export management, logistics, or supply chain operations (FMCG is a plus)
• Experience in SAP and WMS configuration and troubleshooting
• Skilled in MS Office Suite (Power BI is a plus)
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvements in business results and processes
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Fluent level written and verbal Japanese and English
