日本語ローカライゼーションプロデューサー/ Japanese Localisation Producer

A global audio entertainment company is looking for a Japanese Localisation Producer. The selected candidate will manage and coordinate localisation projects, overseeing talent, workflow, and vendor relationships to ensure high-quality audio content delivery. This is a remote setup and contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Hire, onboard, and manage adaptation writers, LQA specialists, voice-over artists, and sound engineers
• Coordinate script adaptation, editorial QC, VO production, SFX, mixing, and final mastering
• Ensure smooth workflow handoffs from script to final master
• Identify, engage, and negotiate with local agencies and vendors to balance quality and cost
• Act as the central point of contact between the company and local partners
• Track project progress, unblock issues, and ensure timely delivery
• Manage contracts, NDAs, rights, and compliance for all assets

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience managing localisation projects in media/audio
• Experience managing vendors and agencies in Japan
• Knowledge of voice-over workflows, audio QC, and post-production processes
• Strong local creative network is ideal
• Native level Japanese; fluent level English (Mandarin a plus)
