Web Head of Strategy, Planning, & Operations

A multinational technology company is seeking a JP Web Head of Strategy, Planning & Operations. This role will drive strategic planning, operations, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance eCommerce growth. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead strategy planning and operational execution for Japan's eCommerce business
• Act as a key thought partner to the GM, assisting in strategy development and presentations
• Oversee strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends
• Represent Japan in global eCommerce projects, adapting best practices locally
• Facilitate collaboration among finance, operations, and marketing teams to improve execution
• Manage stakeholder engagement, ensuring seamless communication with leadership and regional teams

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in strategy, planning, and operations or business consulting at a major firm
• Proven experience in technology-driven or eCommerce business operations
• Experience working with global and regional teams, adapting strategies to local markets
• Skilled in executive-level documentation, storytelling, and visualisation
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organisational change
• Possess a valid MBA qualification is a plus
• Native level Japanese; professional level English
