Director EA Strategy Japan

An international consumer goods company is looking for a Director EA Strategy Japan. The selected candidate will develop and execute long-term strategies, manage internal and external stakeholder engagements, and drive regulatory initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement integrated strategies on regulatory, fiscal, science, and sustainability topics
• Collaborate across teams to support strategy efforts and manage ad hoc projects
• Build and maintain partnerships with government, NGOs, media, and scientific communities
• Engage key opinion leaders to establish the company as a preferred partner on regulatory and taxation matters
• Analyse political and regulatory trends to address industry challenges and propose solutions
• Support team management by fostering development, providing feedback, and coaching

Requirements:

• 10-15 years of experience in a large multinational company leading regulation, fiscal, engagement strategies and direct interaction with government institutions, regulatory authorities, and PR or media outfits
• More than 5 years of experience in people management (external or corporate affairs)
• Prior global experience in external or corporate affairs
• Fluent level Japanese and English
