Country Head

A well-established company that offers high-end concierge services is looking for a Country Head. The chosen candidate will play a key role in leading the local operations to drive business growth within Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key point of contact for client organisations on a regular basis
• Drive planning and monitoring of client account plans
• Lead high-touch services across all concierge operations
• Understand customer expectations to standardise operating procedures and workflows
• Achieve SLA and KPI internally and externally
• Lead call calibration with clients
• Create business review meeting materials and lead discussion
• Ensure client reports are delivered in a timely manner
• Participate in the budget process and audit controls for Japan with global teams
• Maintain compliance in financial management of the company
• Assist in implementing marketing strategies and partnership development activities
• Oversee recruitment strategies and advise HR on hiring initiatives
• Deliver market performance presentations to senior management and clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 3+ years of experience in a management role, ideally in the lifestyle or concierge sector
• Experience leading and negotiating commercial deals
• Prior experience in customer service operations management or client account management
• Background in fintech, financial services, travel, concierge or hospitality is a strong plus
• Experience working with global, cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment is wanted
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Good coaching and negotiation skills
• Bilingual level English and Japanese
