教育サービスマネージャー/ Schools Education Services Manager

The Victorian Government Trade and Investment Office is looking for a highly motivated professional to join its regional education team, working with Victorian education, training, and EdTech providers to expand market access and unlock commercial opportunities across the region.

The role is responsible for delivering strategic stakeholder engagement, business development, marketing and communications initiatives, and targeted projects that promote global learning, the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), and international education in Victorian Government schools.

The position represents the Victorian Government across a broad network of senior public and private sector stakeholders, including at high-profile events and engagements. It works in close collaboration with Head Office in Melbourne and with international colleagues across VGTI offices in North Asia to drive coordinated outcomes.

The role also contributes to the broader objectives of the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions, which is committed to strengthening Victoria’s economic prosperity, enhancing workforce capability, supporting thriving industries, and building inclusive, vibrant communities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and share market intelligence on school-related opportunities in Japan
• Build and maintain relationships with education agents and key school sector stakeholders across Japan
• Engage regularly with Education Services Managers in other regions to promote the International Student Program (ISP) and support school delegations
• Deliver marketing, promotional, and international student recruitment activities for the ISP in Victorian Government schools
• Establish and strengthen government-to-government connections to enhance Victoria’s reputation for high-quality school education
• Contribute to market development initiatives and strategic business planning related to international education and the ISP
• Provide critical incident support for international school students by coordinating communication between the Department of Education, students, and their families
• Support compliance with the Foreign Relations Act in relation to new or existing arrangements between the Department of Education and foreign entities
• Assist in coordinating in-country delegations for the Victorian Minister for Education and other senior government officials

Requirements:

• Demonstrated representation and stakeholder management experience
• Extensive knowledge of the cultural, economic and political environments which impact school education in Japan, and a sound understanding of school education in Australia, Victoria
• Proven ability to develop and lead complex programs, organise itineraries, events and participate in education fairs, and a demonstrated understanding of monitoring and evaluation processes
