CFO

A renowned IT company is looking for a CFO (Head of Corporate Finance). The selected candidate will partner with the CEO to drive corporate value through capital strategy, global M&A, and investor engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development of mid- to long-term equity story and investor relations strategy
• Drive global investor communications aligned with capital market expectations
• Design and implement capital allocation frameworks using WACC and ROIC
• Optimise business portfolio and lead structural reforms for growth investments
• Oversee end-to-end global M&A initiatives including sourcing, execution, and PMI
• Advise executive leadership with data-driven insights to enhance decision-making

Requirements:

• Experience in at least one of the following areas:

- Investment and value creation within a private equity environment
- Investment banking experience, with exposure to large-scale M&A, fundraising, or portfolio transformation
- Experience on the buy-side (institutional investor) or a strong track record as an equity analyst
- Leadership experience in IR, corporate planning, or financial strategy within a listed or large-scale company

• Business level English; professional level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience engaging with institutional investors or other capital markets stakeholders
• Background in business transformation or restructuring initiatives (carve-outs, portfolio optimisation)
• Prior background in contributing to cross-functional projects and driving change in collaboration with internal teams
