財務責任者/ SVP of Finance

A foreign energy company is looking for an SVP of Finance. The selected applicant will oversee finance and accounting operations, ensure compliance, support projects, and coordinate between Headquarters and Japan office.

Responsibilities:

• Review monthly management accounts, liaising with outsourced agents for bookkeeping & payment processing
• Review tax compliance filings and liaise with outsourced tax agent
• Manage overall sales & receivable process and purchases & payable cycle, including staff reimbursement claims and initiation of purchase orders
• Prepare annual budget and monthly cashflow forecast
• Liaise with banks for project financing, including drawdowns and compliance reporting
• Liaise with the auditor and coordinate the completion of the audit of financial statements and corporate tax preparation
• Support project analysis and attend discussions with project teams for finance support
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies & regulatory requirements
• Facilitate communication and implementation of group policies between Headquarters and the Japan office
• Liaise with regulatory authorities as necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting
• Familiarity with IFRS and group reporting
• Proficient in written and verbal Japanese and English

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in the renewable energy sector
