A renowned market research and advisory firm is looking for a Research Manager, Consumer Devices. The selected candidate will lead research, generate actionable insights, and manage a small team. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead primary research on consumer device sales trends and build industry networks
• Assess competitive dynamics and forecast market and consumer shifts
• Produce clear reports and presentations for stakeholders
• Deliver all program outputs accurately and on time
• Manage and develop junior team members through coaching and performance tracking
• Partner with cross-functional teams to build tailored market models

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance/economics, statistics, or engineering
• 6-8 years of work experience (market research or technology industry is ideal)
• Knowledge of economic principles and their application to market analysis
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Proficient in written and spoken Japanese; fluent level English
