Head of Chocolate

A multinational food brand is searching for a Head of Chocolate. The chosen applicant will work with cross-functional departments to create unique, experience-driven gifting solutions that resonate with modern consumers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage strategic gifting portfolio, ensuring alignment with evolving consumer behaviours and market trends
• Collaborate with the R&D team to guide creation of innovative concepts
• Negotiate department store partnerships for new counter locations and additional space
• Work with sales teams to prepare visuals and displays that enhance customer experiences in retail environments
• Develop strategies to maximise opportunities on key occasions while exploring new ways to engage customers year-round
• Transform brand by introducing disruptive ideas that differentiate from competitors

Requirements:

• A proven track record in portfolio management, product marketing, and brand transformation (luxury goods, cosmetics, alcohol, or consumer electronics industry is preferred)
• Strong background in product development
• Experience leading diverse teams and fostering a collaborative culture that encourages innovation and growth
• Strategic thinker with an ability to negotiate partnerships and drive retail success in department stores
• International experience or exposure to overseas markets is highly desirable
• Possess a valid authorisation to work in Japan
• High business level Japanese; fluent level English
