カントリーマネージャー/ Country Manager

A global consumer goods company is looking for a Country Manager. The selected candidate will lead the Japan market strategy, drive multi-channel growth, and oversee cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement local business strategies aligned with global goals
• Oversee full P&L management, budgeting, and performance tracking
• Drive retail and eCommerce growth through strategic partnerships and optimised channel mix
• Lead and develop Sales, Marketing, and Service teams to foster a high-performance culture
• Execute localised brand campaigns, partnerships, and influencer initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Japanese regulations and coordinate with HQ on operations

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of commercial and leadership experience (retail and channel management)
• Experience in managing multi-channel retail operations (department stores, shop-in-shops, and shopping malls
• Prior experience in the baby products, lifestyle, or premium/luxury retail industry is ideal
• Background in leading in marketing, sales, and service
• Knowledge of the Japanese retail landscape and premium consumer trends
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English
