Assistant Localisation Director

A renowned gaming company is looking for an Assistant Localisation Director. The selected candidate will be responsible for translating, scheduling, and managing documents, as well as providing interpretation services. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Translate content from English to Japanese and vice versa
• Manage schedules and coordinate localisation tasks
• Create and organise necessary documentation
• Provide interpretation services as needed
• Ensure timely and accurate translation of all materials
• Support team collaboration and communication

Requirements:

• Experience in a video game company is a plus
• Prior experience in localisation or translation for a video game is preferred
• Proven experience in translation in the entertainment sector (comics, movie, tv series, anime, etc.) is ideal
• Background in schedule management is advantageous
• Passion for gaming
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Native level English; business level Japanese
