経理ゼネラルマネージャー/ Accounting General Manager

A global engineering and IT services company is searching for an Accounting General Manager. The selected applicant will be managing a small team, ensuring compliance with Japanese GAAP reporting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage directly an accountant and a junior financial analyst
• Ensure Japanese GAAP reporting and compliance
• Supervise Tax and Tax return calculation by the outsourced provider
• Monitor project Gross Margins and General Administrative expenses
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports and analysis for local management
• Maintain good relationship with external auditors, Tax Office, banks etc.
• Integration of newly acquired companies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance or accounting (CPA or ACCA qualification is preferred)
• 10-15 years of experience in finance is ideal
• More than 5 years of experience as Finance Manager for a multinational company in Japan
• 3-5 years of experience with an international audit firm
• Background services, IT consulting, or software industry is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of Japanese tax law and accounting systems
• Excellent knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS or US GAAP)
• Experience in working with a European or US headquarters
• Knowledge of Japanese ERP systems is preferred
• Experience implementing an ERP system and internalising outsourced accounting services is a plus
• Skilled in MS Office; expertise in MS Excel
• Proficient in Japanese; fluent level written and verbal English
