Finance & Operations Director

A multinational marketing agency is looking for a Finance & Operations Director. The selected candidate will lead financial strategy, business operations, and corporate governance to drive growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute financial strategies, including cash flow management and funding plans
• Prepare financial reports and oversee budgeting, KPI management, and shareholder reporting
• Manage project finance and negotiate with external stakeholders
• Optimise operational processes and manage external vendors
• Oversee HR strategies, including recruitment, evaluations, and compensation planning
• Ensure legal compliance, contract management, and governance alignment

Requirements:

• Experience in finance, accounting, and corporate management
• Prior experience in corporate management within a foreign-affiliated company or joint venture is a plus
• Proven experience negotiating with global shareholders is preferred
• Background in business process structuring in a startup or growth company is ideal
• Knowledge in the global regulatory frameworks, Japanese laws, and business practice
• Business level English; professional level Japanese
