An international technology company is searching for a President. The selected applicant will be at the forefront of driving business performance and growth for the smartphone portfolio in the region.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a region-wide growth plan
• Build strong relationships with key operators and strategic partners
• Drive transformation and strategic initiatives aligned with the overall strategy
• Direct the preparation, communication, and execution of operating objectives
• Lead region reviews with business leaders and stakeholders
• Manage operating expenses to deliver sustained profitability
• Lead the talent strategy for Japan to build and develop a strong and committed team

Requirements:

• An energetic leader with successful experience in a technology solutions organisation
• Experience in a smartphone company
• Strong understanding of P&L management (proven track record is preferred)
• Demonstrable track record in sales organisations to drive growth in revenue, margin and market share
• Experience in a global matrix organisation and ability to work collaboratively across a matrixed reporting structure is a plus
• Ability to work through an extensive and diverse partner and channel eco-system
• Exceptional abilities in leading and managing teams
• Possess a wide network and is excellent at leveraging C-Level relationships across top Japanese operators
