Technical Business Manager

A global chemical manufacturer is searching for a Technical Business Manager. The chosen applicant will be responsible for achieving annual business targets and identifying new business potentials with existing and new customers. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Consult and support customer’s implementation of products into their formulation and production
• Advise customers, partners and prospects on our products and their value from a technical perspective
• Facilitate day-to-day partners and customers interaction in the defined territory
• Plan, prepare, and review customer visits based on priorities agreed upon with the line manager
• Define action plans for individual customers and partners in coordination with the line manager
• Participate at trade fairs and similar events in coordination with line manager
• Maintain professional and timely communication with all internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in food science, engineering, chemistry, or a related field
• More than 3 years of experience in the food or ingredient industry (Hydrocolloids industry is preferred)
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP
• Ability to explain and present complex matters in an easily understandable way, using the methodology of modern presentation
• Strong communication skills
• Native level Japanese; conversational level written and verbal English
