A multinational manufacturing company is seeking a Consumer Insights Senior Manager. The selected candidate will develop and execute market research plans to support product development and marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop market research plans aligned with business goals
- Adapt global research protocols for the local market
- Design screeners, questionnaires, and discussion guides for insights
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative data
- Mentor team members to enhance their skills
- Optimize costs by negotiating with research agencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in psychology, sociology, anthropology, foreign studies or a related domain
- 5-7 years of experience in hands-on marketing research (agency side)
- Background in FMCG or durable goods industry is a plus
- Prior background in qualitative and quantitative research (validation and exploratory fields)
- Proficient in Japanese and English
