日本ファイナンスディレクター/ Japan Finance Director

A multinational biotechnology company is looking for a Japan Finance Director. The selected applicant will be in charge of setting and achieving the company's financial and operating plans and targets.

Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with the Japan General or Country Manager and the rest of the Japan leadership team in setting and achieving the company’s financial and operating plans and targets
• Lead the annual budgeting and monthly and quarterly forecasting and review process
• Ensure financial data provided is accurate and meets reporting deadlines
• Manage key components of working capital, including accounts receivable, inventory, and accounts payable
• Drive a culture of integrity and compliance by ensuring financial information is prepared in accordance with US GAAP, JGAAP, SCIEX, or Danaher accounting policies and local statutory, tax, or legal requirements
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors to ensure support is provided to complete audit work and address findings timely
• Develop and lead the Japan finance team in providing excellent services by keeping team members engaged and providing necessary guidance and training opportunities

Requirements:

• More than 20 years of experience
• More than 10 years of experience in a managerial function
• More than 5 years of experience overseeing the entire finance function including accounting and FP&A
• Deep knowledge of USGAAP or JGAAP
• Expertise in MS Excel
• Experience in ERPs (Oracle and HFM, as well as Power BI) is advantageous
• Background in the life science industry is desirable
• Possess a valid CPA licence or equivalent is a plus
