Business Development Director

An international reinsurance company is looking for a Business Development Director. The selected individual will be developing reinsurance opportunities and improving relationships with customers. This position is based in Tokyo.

Responsibilities:

• Utilise tools to implement plans
• Participate in creating business strategies
• Conduct product research on insurance company problems
• Innovate insurance solutions through research and analysis for company challenges
• Determine and close deals to achieve plans
• Oversee and establish projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 10 years of insurance experience is preferred
• Understanding of life insurance product
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
• Proficient in spoken and written English; native level Japanese (JLPT N2)
