The General Manager and Country Head for Japan will have overall commercial and top line revenue responsibility for Synthetic Rubber Sales in Japan, along with the oversight and leadership of the organisation and business in Japan. This is an excellent opportunity to put your skills to use in a senior management role.
- Oversee and manage all activities related to sales performance, product distribution, sales operations and customer relations within Japan
- Maintain and increase company presence and profitability with its customers
- Grow and drive a high efficiency team to meet or exceed regional and global objectives Provide clear direction by utilising local expertise and maintaining a high level of communication and knowledge-sharing
- Develop and implement a human resources management plan for the region
- Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated vertical sales management and sales experience
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role with a strong focus on performance and profit improvement in a complex and fast paced business environment
- Experience in driving change in a growth environment is highly desired
- Proven track record in aggressively improving sales and market share
- Knowledge of supply chain / logistics / packaging is a plus
