一級建築士/ 1st Class Architect

A global professional services company is searching for a 1st Class Architect. The selected candidate will support the delivery of projects in Japan by providing technical expertise, local code guidance, and on-site representation.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the team on localisation of material selections and construction techniques associated with projects delivered in Japan
• Provide recommendations and input on code-related items where US requirements may be less stringent than Japanese code
• Represent the firm at project meetings with clients and local Japanese sub-consultants on tasks and projects
• Provide in-person site representation and observations for investigations and coordination
• Work with the team on local strategy and tactics associated with pipeline opportunities identified by the Government's team related to work in Okinawa and Japan
• Coordinate with Japanese design and construction firms on US-funded design-build opportunities
• Support proposal development for task orders and other emerging opportunities
• Coordinate with the Guam team regarding other opportunities as they arise in the Oceania geographic region

Requirements:

• Having the first-class architect license of Japan
• Proficient in English
