土木・構造エンジニア/ Civil and Structural Engineer

A multinational energy company is looking for a Civil and Structural Engineer. The selected candidate will design, review, and optimise civil and structural components while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and compliance with engineering standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and optimise civil and structural components for solar, wind, and BESS projects
• Conduct site evaluations using surveys, drone mapping, shadow analysis, and quality inspections
• Integrate geotechnical findings into slope stability and foundation designs and recommend mitigation strategies
• Prepare civil and structural drawings, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates to support procurement and budgeting
• Ensure compliance with local, prefectural, and national engineering codes and standards
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers throughout the EPC lifecycle to align on design standards and deliverables

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil or Structural Engineering
• More than 4 years of civil or structural engineering experience
• More than 2 years of experience in renewable energy
• Experience managing external construction companies
• Proficient in construction standards, best practices, and quality inspection procedures
• Concrete experience with utility-scale wind, solar, and storage assets
• Experience with engineering software such as Excel, AutoCAD, Civil3D, QGIS, StaadPro, SAP2000, JW CAD, Revit, Python or equivalent
• Proficient in English and Japanese
