変電所自動化システムエンジニア/ Substation Automation System Engineer

A multinational power and automation company is looking for a Substation Automation System Engineer. The selected candidate will support project engineering, create technical documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Create and review engineering documents and protection relay configurations
• Handle customer comments and approval responses to support project management
• Contribute to developing standard processes and work instructions by applying best practices
• Analyse lessons learned from projects and implement continuous improvement actions
• Promote and enforce safe working environments through HSE measures and compliance guidelines
• Take responsibility for project activities on-site in line with safety and integrity values

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation Control, or related field
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience in the SAS/SCADA domain
• Prior experience with substation automation systems, RTU, PLC, Gateways
• Skilled in SAS panel design, detailed design documentation, and protection relay configuration software
• Proficient in SCADA protocols (DNP3, Modbus, IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 61850) and connectivity (TCP/IP, Fibre, RS-232/485) with debugging ability
• Native level Japanese; proficient in verbal and written English is ideal
