A global energy automation organisation is searching for a Communication Software Engineer. The qualified candidate will oversee the development of communication software projects. This position is based in Osaka.

Responsibilities:

• Guarantee fulfilment of all obligations (timelines, finances, etc.)
• Plan and synchronise project execution activities
• Deliver proposals on solutions, expenses, effects to involved parties
• Detect problems and hazards, manage, and monitor solutions
• Formulate stage gate determinations and report project advancement
• Assess communication software source code and offer guidance

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of software engineer experience (C/C++/C# language)
• More than 5 years of embedded system with real-time OS Linux experience
• More than 3 years of communication software (MODBUS RTU/TCP, OPC-UA)
• Practical experience in PLCs vender communication protocols (Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and OMRON)
• Experience in network standard protocol TCP/IP
• Possess a valid authorisation to work in Japan
• Business level English; conversation level Japanese
