技術営業・事業開発マネージャー/ Technical Sales & Business Development Manager
A global maritime services provider is looking for a Technical Sales & Business Development Manager. The chosen applicant will be responsible for growing sales and optimising the profitability of the assigned mooring solutions product portfolio. This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
- Drive profitable sales growth with existing and new customers within the assigned product portfolio
- Identify and prioritise target customers and execute sales activities required to close opportunities using best practice technical sales approaches
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through frequent, high-quality face-to-face meetings
- Source, develop, and sustain multilevel relationships within key customer accounts
- Collaborate closely with Sales counterparts to integrate mooring solutions into Sales Activity Plans and ensure execution of agreed actions
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve targets through share of wallet growth and new business development
- Maintain strong focus and follow up on NBI and DD opportunities, including high-value and strategic projects
- Utilise available sales tools to identify growth opportunities and drive actions with target customers
- Apply deep technical and practical knowledge of the mooring business to support commercial discussions and customer engagements
- Ensure accurate and timely updating of visit reports and pipeline opportunities in the CRM system
Requirements:
- 3-5 years relevant work experience with demonstrated achievements in sales
- Experience working with MS Excel, MS Office, CRM systems, etc.
- Experience in negotiating deals with customers
- Good interpersonal, influencing, and networking skills with awareness of global cultural differences
- Proven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with customers
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marine qualification
- International sales experience in technical sales within sailing or other maritime engineering experience
