PPA Head

A renewable energy company is searching for a Head of Commercial Off-take (PPA), Business Development. The chosen candidate will be in charge of growing and maintaining off-taker relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Grow, maintain, and prioritise off-taker relationships
• Lead execution of corporate off-take agreements
• Maximise project value across our portfolio of assets
• Work closely with the development, EPC, and project finance teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, finance, economics, marketing, real estate, or related field (MBA is advantageous)
• More than 10 years of professional experience
• 2-3 years of experience in business development or project development related to utility-scale renewable power plant development (solar is preferred)
• Experience in structured project finance and the sensitivities of equity and debt providers related to the respective terms of the PPA
• Understanding of renewable project development and execution process with direct experience in renewable project origination, development, project finance, or asset management
• Proficient in MS Office
• Knowledge of PV technology, project development, construction, operation, maintenance, and performance
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Proficient in written and verbal Japanese; fluent level English is a plus
