EPCプロジェクトマネージャー/ EPC Project Manager

An energy company is searching for an EPC Project Manager. The chosen applicant will be responsible for managing solar project engineering, procurement, and construction processes, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage solar project engineering, procurement, and construction process from ready-to-build status to delivery of asset
• Lead design review meetings with all stakeholders and prepare design information for procurement actions
• Coordinate with engineering, finance, legal, and construction teams to ensure project delivery timelines
• Create project risk assessments and manage throughout the project lifespan
• Support as needed in the structuring, negotiating, and closing of EPC proposals and agreements with the procurement team
• Manage budgets, milestones, schedules, and deliverables for projects from ready to build until delivery
• Ensure construction plans and activities comply with prefecture and local government regulations
• Resolve project issues to bring projects to successful commercial operation
• Monitor and control project progress through regular site meetings, engaging with all stakeholders and reporting on project progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering is preferred
• 5-10 years of professional experience
• Knowledge of Autocad, PVsyst, PV Case, etc.
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Understanding of key contracting terms
• Possess a valid driver’s licence
• Advanced level Japanese and English
