An international energy company is looking for a Business Development Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing numerous offshore wind initiatives. This position is based in Tokyo.
Responsibilities:
- Handle commercial agreements negotiations
- Oversee project workstreams
- Drive opportunities through relationship building with external stakeholders
- Assist in project portfolio management
- Provide aid in mergers and acquisition activities
- Promote measures that could change the regional offshore wind regulatory systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above (MBA is advantageous)
- Experience in financial modelling or investment cases development
- Background in M&A dealing, strategy development, or project execution
- Prior experience developing renewable energy
- Knowledge of local power market and regulatory framework
- Native level Japanese; fluent level English
