プロジェクトマネージャー / Project Manager

An energy solutions company is looking for a Project Manager – Energy Portfolio Management. The selected candidate will handle end-to-end delivery of strategic energy projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, regulatory standards, and organisational goals. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead project teams and establish execution strategies
• Oversee project planning, monitoring, and control activities
• Define project plans, including scope, schedule, financials and risk management
• Monitor progress, analyse critical paths and implement corrective actions
• Manage project financials, including invoicing, cost control and cash flow
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with contract and claim management policies
• Coordinate procurement of services, materials, and equipment
• Act as the primary customer contact and escalation point for project issues
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
• Close projects formally and ensure customer acceptance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field
• More than 5 years of experience in project management in SaaS solutions
• Project management in SaaS solutions (energy or utility is a plus)
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects
• Advanced project planning and scheduling (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
• Strong understanding of software implementation projects and integration with enterprise systems
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Client-facing PM
• Business level Japanese and English

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in utilities or the energy industry
• Familiarity with Energy Portfolio Management systems, energy markets, and regulatory frameworks
• Possess a valid PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
