ファシリティエンジニア/ Facility Engineer

A renowned data centre management company is looking for a Facility Engineer. The selected candidate will manage data centre operations, optimise resources, and ensure the smooth running of facility systems.

Responsibilities:

• Optimise data centre capacity management for space and power resources
• Define security procedures and maintain security systems
• Manage fault response, service impact assessments, and escalation workflows
• Consolidate performance reports for data centre operations
• Implement certification programs such as ISO 27001, 14001, and 45001
• Supervise maintenance work and handle vendor relations
• Manage routine and emergency maintenance for critical systems
• Document SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs for data centre operations
• Resolve infrastructure engineering issues within the data centre
• Oversee design, construction, and commissioning phases of new data centres
• Support compliance with energy regulations and environmental codes
• Improve PUE and operational costs with vendor management

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in electrical or mechanical engineering
• More than 5 years of experience in data centre facility management or similar critical facility management
• Leadership abilities and experience in leading projects
• Knowledge of data centre infrastructure equivalent to CDCP or CDFOM certifications
• Possess valid national licences related to DC infrastructure are preferred (Qualified Person for Energy Management, second-class chief electric engineer)
• Native level Japanese; intermediate level English
